Read anything you saved later in an optimized format with just the essential text and images, without any headers, ads or clutter to get in the way. All content is stored on your device, so it even works offline.
The reader’s design is carefully crafted for articles with custom styles for better readability and distraction-free reading. Choose your favorite theme, reader mode, select a preset or custom font size or choose between scroll and page options.
While reading, simply select text to take notes or highlight favorite sections. Search inside articles to quickly find anything you are looking for. Mark articles as favorites, add tags or put them in folders. Export your articles with all information and annotations in text, markdown or json format.

Choose your favorite theme, reader mode (day, sepia, grey, dusk, night, black), select a preset or custom font size, content layout (page, scroll), adjust margins and many more options.
While reading, simply select text to take notes or highlight favorite sections. Search inside articles to quickly find anything you are looking for or copy, define, translate and lookup selected text.
Library
Organise your articles in an easy to use library.
Mark articles as favorites, add tags or put them in folders. Sort articles by date, unread, title or recently read. Browse your collection by folder, tag or website and filter the library by tags or reading time.
Export your articles with all information and annotations in text, markdown or json format or upload highlights to Readwise and other services. You can also save the full article content as plain text or markdown for use in other apps.
Cloud
All your articles and annotations are stored securely in Apple’s iCloud, there is no external account required.
Keep all your articles safe and at hand on whatever device. Every time you add an article, annotation, folder or tag, it’s synced to all your devices. Always have the latest version, when you start reading on your iPad and continue on your iPhone on the go.

Atode includes widgets to quickly view and open your bookmarked articles or highlighted quotes. Add a widget from the gallery and choose a list from the configuration options. Continue reading where you left off right from your home or lock screen.
Shortcuts
Build custom shortcuts to save or export your articles and annotations.
A shortcut is a quick way to get one or more tasks done with your apps. The Apple Shortcuts app lets you create your own shortcuts with multiple steps.
Atode includes shortcuts to list or open articles and annotations and to export them in text, markdown or json format or save content as text and markdown. All shortcuts are available in the Apple Shortcuts app and can be freely combined with other actions.
Premium
The basic edition is free to use, includes all features and lets you try out the unrestricted reader.
However, there is a limit to the number of bookmarks you can save per month. Upgrade to a premium subscription for more or unlimited bookmarks.
There are two different plans available: Atode Plus increases the number of bookmarks and Atode Pro offers unlimited bookmarks per month. The Plus edition is monthly while for the Pro edition you can choose between a monthly and discounted yearly subscription.
